Objectives & Functions

Academic and practical goals of postgraduate studies at SLUK.

Objectives of postgraduate studies

Within this framework, the School pursues two particular objectives:

  1. Provide training in research for those whose future careers will lie in teaching and research at the tertiary level, and for those who may operate in research and development environments in the public or private sectors.
  2. Provide short- and long-term training facilities aimed at improving and upgrading high-level manpower needed for planning, implementing and reviewing national development plans, as well as for improved productivity in the private sector.
